William Lowndes, III
Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
William Lowndes, III graduated from The Citadel in the early 1950s, and in 1963 he acquired Tindall Concrete Pipe Company. Since taking over the business, he has grown Tindall Corporation into one of the largest privately held precast concrete companies in North America as well as being Tindall's Chairman and CEO.
William (Willy) Lowndes, IV
William Lowndes, IV is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He is thrilled to be active in the family business. He has worked at Tindall since 1977.
Gregory Force, P.E., FPCI, FASCE
President & Chief Operating Officer
Greg Force has been the President and COO of Tindall Corporation since 2004, having joined the company in 1988. He is a civil engineering graduate of Lehigh University and obtained his MBA from GA College and State University. Greg has filled positions in engineering, sales, and project management and was Vice President and General Manager of the Virginia Division before becoming a corporate member. He has been actively involved in the Precast, Prestressed Concrete Institute for nearly 30 years, serving as Chairman of the Board in 2012, Chairman of the Design Handbook Committee for the 7th Edition, Chairman of the Parking Structures Committee, and a member of the Technical Activities Council. Greg remains active on several technical committees and is a member of the Research and Development Council. He is a registered Professional Engineer in ten states and a Fellow of PCI and of ASCE.
Cheryl Lang, C.P.A
VP & Chief Financial Officer
Cheryl received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at East Tennesse State University and then an MBA from Clemson University. She started at Tindall Corporation in 1990 as a controller before being promoted to Vice President and CFO. Her duties include oversight of finance, accounting, and information technology. She is active is the South Carolina Association of CPA's and has also served on numerous boards and civic groups—including the Hope Center for Children and the ETSU Foundation.
Jeff Woodruff, P.E.
VP Engineering - Mississippi Division
Jeff held the position of VP and GM for the Mississippi Division since 2004 prior to taking on the role of VP of Engineering for Mississippi. Since starting with Tindall in 1986, he has performed in and managed the functional areas of engineering and project management for several of our divisions. Jeff is a registered professional engineer in five states and has a BS in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech and a BA from the University of Georgia.
Vice President of Human Resources
Kelly Mendez-Scheib graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Master of Science, Industrial Relations and Human Resources, as well as a Bachelor of Science, Labor Studies and Industrial Relations from the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State. Her duties at Tindall include overseeing workforce planning, and employment, compensation and benefits administration, development and training, employee relations and more. Kelly has performed numerous duties within Human Resources, and brings with her a host of professional certifications, including the Senior Professional in Human Resources certification (SPHR) awarded by the HR Certification Institute, and the Senior Certified Professional certification awarded by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP). In her spare time, Kelly also enjoys volunteering in the local community and spending time with her family and three children.
Anthony (Tony) Smith
VP & GM - South Carolina Division
Tony joined Tindall in 2004 as Operations Manager for the South Carolina Division. Since then he has been promoted to Vice President and General Manager of the SC Division. Before working at Tindall, Tony served in the United States Marine Corps. He began his career in prestressed concrete in 1985 and learned the business from the ground up, working various roles as a laborer, crane/equipment operator, batch plant manager, plant superintendent, quality control manager, and other positions for two large precast companies.
Tony enjoys playing golf, watching sports, and riding his Harley Davidson in his spare time.
Chuck Wynings, P.E.
VP & GM - Virginia Division
Chuck has over 27 years in the precast, prestressed concrete industry and is a registered professional engineer in four states. Prior to joining Tindall, he worked five years for a precast concrete consulting engineering firm and then nine years for another precast concrete manufacturer. He is active in the Precast Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) and was recently named a Fellow of PCI.
For the past four years, he has served as the Vice President and General Manager of Tindall’s Virginia Division. Before that he served as the Engineering Manager for the Virginia Division for 9 years.
Chuck lives in Virginia with his wife, Robin, and three children. He enjoys spending time with them as well as trout fishing, golfing, and following the football field successes of alma mater Pennsylvania State University.
VP & GM - Utilities
Joel started with Tindall Corporation in 2002 as a project manager for the South Carolina Division. He was promoted to Senior Project manager prior to joining the utilities team in 2004. He has worked in the Utilities Division in the capacity of Customer Service Manager and Operations Manager prior to his current role as Vice President and General Manager of the Utilities Division.
Joel has lived in Upstate South Carolina for most of his life and enjoys calling the area his home. Every fall he enjoys tailgating and Clemson football.
VP - Sales
David has been the Vice President of Sales at Tindall since 1988. For the past 20 years, he has focused on the National and International Corrections Market. He has served in many leadership roles in his community, county, and state.
David graduated from Wofford College and is married with two children. He is active in his church and is a local youth coach for baseball, basketball, and soccer teams.
Mac Freeman, P.E.
VP & General Manager-Mississippi Division
Mac has over 40 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry with more than twelve years leading Tindall's technical sales in Mississippi. Prior to joining Tindall, Mac held senior management positions in engineering, construction and economic development with Southern Company and Mississippi Power. Mac is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Alabama and Mississippi with a Degree in Civil Engineering from Auburn University and a Masters from Georgia Tech.
Mac and his wife Sue have four children and reside in Mississippi.
Roger Knox, P.E.
VP & GM - Texas Division
Roger graduated with a BSCE degree from Clemson University. He is a registered Professional Engineer with Tindall since 1983. His experience spans structural design and materials engineering to sales and product and process development. He has previously been VP of Facilities and Materials Engineering as well as General Manager of the Spartanburg, South Carolina plant.

Rob started with Tindall Corporation in 2004 as an Industrial Engineer for the South Carolina Division. A native of Greenville, he graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering with a minor in Business. While at Virginia Tech Rob was a four year starter and two year captain of the men’s varsity soccer team. He has served in multiple roles including Plant Industrial Engineer, Plant Production Manager, Plant Manager, and Operations Manager for the South Carolina Prestress Division. During this time Rob also received his M.B.A from Clemson University. Rob remains active with competitive soccer, running, and volunteering with his church. Most importantly, Rob enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children.
