The Atlas Concrete Tower Base (CTB), an innovative design, will enable you to raise your OEM turbines to heights reaching 130+ meters. What’s more, you can do it with a practical, economically feasible precast concrete tower base that’s DNV-GL-Certified to 130+ meter hub height and is the only hybrid precast concrete wind tower system developed in North America.
The concrete tower base can accommodate 70- to 100-m steel mono-towers to achieve hub heights up to 130 meters supporting 3-MW- plus utility class turbines. There are no bolts, only post-tensioned tendons. The vibration properties are simply exceptional. Using a shallow ring foundation, there is a 40% or more reduction in foundation concrete, reinforcing steel, and installation costs.
