MOSS POINT, MS–Tindall, a leader in precast, prestressed concrete for over 50 years, has promoted McKindley “Mac” Freeman, P.E. to VP & General Manager – Mississippi Division. Mac will be filling the position previously occupied by Jeff Woodruff, P.E. who announced his retirement for the end of 2016 but will remain with Tindall in the role of VP of Engineering until that time.
Mac joined Tindall in 2004 and has previously served as a project manager, sales engineer and sales manager. His duties have included everything from engineering and construction management to sales and marketing. The governor of Mississippi once proclaimed a “Mac Freeman Week” for Mac’s work in business development. Mac holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering and currently resides in Mississippi with his wife and four children.
Jeff Woodruff joined Tindall in 1986 and has managed the functional areas of engineering and project management for several of the company’s divisions. He’s held the position of VP and GM for the Mississippi Division since 2004 and will be supporting the Mississippi division by serving as the engineering manager as he transitions into retirement.
“Mac is a skilled and experienced leader, and we’re confident in his abilities to oversee the success of Tindall’s Mississippi division,” said Greg Force, P.E., President & COO. “On behalf of the company, I’d also like to thank Jeff for his valuable contributions and outstanding service throughout his 30-year career at Tindall.”
