This 12-story total precast apartment complex in Richmond, VA, utilizes T-SLAB® flooring system, insulated exterior walls which are both structural and architectural, interior corridor walls, stair and elevator boxes, and precast stair units. With roughly 680 pieces of precast and 156,000-square-feet of precast floor/roof area, this apartment building incorporates 211 beds. And most impressively, the entire structure was erected in three months. Also built onsite, separated by a firewall, is a 150-stall parking garage to facilitate the needs of tenants in the apartment building. The garage also contains on-grade retail and office space and was erected in two and a half months. Built in a downtown urban environment, Tindall’s vast experience and knowledge in building complex precast systems allowed us to offer the client an attractive, cost-effective, and fast approach to get their project completed and generating revenue.
