Tindall Corporation promoted Mary Ann Griggas-Smith to Director of Corporate Engineering. With over 35 years of structural engineering experience, Mary Ann’s progression will contribute to reaching department goals and improving efficiencies.
“Mary Ann has been instrumental in establishing a corporate engineering function within Tindall, bringing a substantial boost to our in-house support capability of the overall operation,” said Greg Force, President and CEO of Tindall. “I have no doubt her professionalism and leadership will help ensure Tindall’s future growth.”
In her new role, Mary Ann will plan and direct all aspects of engineering activities and projects at Tindall. She will ensure all projects, initiatives and processes are in conformance with the organization’s plan to create functional strategies and specific objectives for the engineering department.
“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to continue my role within Tindall’s Engineering Department,” said Griggas-Smith. “Our team has grown exponentially over the last several years, and I’m looking forward to expanding even more in our capabilities in the near future.”
Mary Ann joined Tindall in 2012 as South Carolina Division’s Engineering Manager. Most recently she held the position of Manager of Corporate Engineering. She is an active PCI member and currently serves as a Technical Activities Council member. Mary Ann earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from Tulane University.
