In addition to maintaining PCI Certification, Tindall Corporation’s Moss Point, Mississippi plant successfully transitioned from ISO9001:2008 to the new ISO9001:2015 standard in December 2017. All ISO-certified companies must transition to the new standard no later than September 2018. The Mississippi Division successfully completed this step nine months in advance.
ISO is an International quality management standard with strict criteria that helps businesses and organizations increase quality, efficiency and improve customer satisfaction. Certification is granted after successful completion of an audit performed by an independent, accredited third-party organization.
ISO principles ensure the company’s focus is on its products, quality management systems and operations to meet or exceed customer expectations. The system is extremely strict and applies statutory and regulatory requirements to ensure that the company has procedures that promote and advance continuous improvement.
“Our division takes pride in ensuring that we stay up-to-date on the latest standards required of our industry,” said Mac Freeman, Vice President and General Manager of Tindall’s Mississippi Division. “Our motivation to complete this certification stems from our goal to provide nothing but the best for Tindall’s customers.”
Tindall’s Mississippi Division is one of the few manufacturing facilities in the United States to hold both ISO and PCI certifications. They continue to exceed industry expectations by holding their products and processes to the highest standards.
