We love it when a plan comes together, and that’s just what happened with this goliath parking structure. When the owner of this project set out to create an ultra-efficient parking solution for their campus, Tindall knew that robust planning during the preconstruction phase would be critical to the project’s success. By getting involved early in the process, the Tindall team was able to deliver numerous layouts, ideas, budgets, and more to help guide the project teams toward the final design. The result? A seven-story parking structure with nearly 1,800 parking spaces, an efficient layout, and a stunning exterior that perfectly blends with the surrounding campus.
During the preconstruction phase, Tindall provided layout recommendations to enhance the efficiency of the structure. This ultimately reduced the number of required precast components, saving the customer both time and cost. To deliver a structure as visually striking as it is efficient, Tindall leveraged two types of pigmented precast with sandblast finish and thin-brick for accent sections. These aesthetic details help the structure appear right at home among the other nearby structures. This completed project clocked in at 566,671 square feet and required a wide range of precast components, including double tees, beams, columns, panels, and shear walls. By getting involved in the project’s design early in the process, Tindall helped deliver an exceptionally efficient structure on time and within budget.
